I have it paired with a 3060ti - its a perfect combo - has room for overclocking as well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.depends on what resolution you are planning on running. I plan on running mine with a 3080 when they become available. I plan on running 1080p at 166 hz but it should be a solid choice for more than a couple years. thats why i went with it. you can always upgrade down the road if its not enough but spending more on a gpu will also help you achieve what you want to do for a longer time. I got a 3400g because i was trying to be cheap but ended up feeling bottlenecked even with a 5600xt with that. I then upgraded to the 3800x and it seems to boot a touch faster and is better when it comes to gaming. I would not go back. it works but not optimally. more cores and threads are the way of the future unfortunately.
