Just Installed this yesterday and it’s running a bit hot nothing crazy but I’m wondering if the cpu itself had any plastic film on it I can’t recall when I was installing mine and I’m worried if that’s what May be causing it, any help. null

Yeah, this CPU you just put in runs hotter, for sure. When I swapped from the Ryzen 5 3600, it went up like 10 to 15 degrees. So, I got an AIO cooler, and now the temps are good.

The CPU should not have any plastic film.  Double check your cooler though and make sure you didn't drop on your thermal paste with a bad amount.
