“I want to upgrade my 3700x for this, do you think this is worth the upgrade? Also will this work with a 2080 super ? I plan on upgrading my gpu in the future”

Yup very good i upgraded from the 3700x also went with the 7700x matched with a RTX 4070 super and 64gb of ram on a mobo tuf B650-Plus wifi been running it for 2 years with no issues i do Recommend. Liquid cooling though for the higher temps.

Please try again later.If you go with the 7700x you won't be disappointed this 8 core 16 thread monster gets very hot so you might have to go into the bios and adjust the pbo but what you cando there is impressive to say the least with pbo you can run the the chip how you prefer if you are ok with the temps right out of the box then no worries but boy is pbo impressive on these chips no performance lost and amazing clock speeds and low power draw a win win . Bye the way the 2080 super is awesome with the 7700x 1080p 1440p and even 4k gaming is possible so in actuality you don't have to upgrade the gpu its a great match but if you want to upgrade your gpu down the line you can but 7700x and 2080super is an outstanding combo good luck.
