“My computer has a Sunflower motherboard with an AM4. It is a hp pavilion 690-0020, on the list of processor upgrades It doesn't show the Ryzen 9. I know this is a newer processor. Does anyone know if the processor will be compatible with my Motherboard?”

• I would say not. This motherboard can only handle a 65W TDP processor (and as someone else said, perhaps only up through 2nd gen). The 3900X is a 105W TDP part.
