• This comes with thermal paste pre-applied to the CPU fan. If you don’t have to re-seat it once you install it, you will be good.

• it has a thin coating of thermal paste, but it is best to add some more. I added it to the cooler because you have to be very careful on how you seat the cpu on the board so you don't bend the pins.

• It comes pre-applied on the wraith prism fan that is included. Although I'd recommend cleaning it off and applying your own fresh paste. Noctua makes a good paste for about $7.
