No, you’ll need to get a socket AM4 motherboard. I’d recommend looking at X570 if you plan on overclocking or B450 if you plan to use out of the box settings. Just make sure you update the bios to ensure compatibility.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like you have a Intel cpu supported Motherboard Amd will not fit or work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, You must match your CPU to the appropriate socket. The 3950x is an AM4 socket and is best on a 570x series motherboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO, you will need an AM4 compatible motherboard in order to mount this CPU. I would suggest an X470, X570 or a B450 or B350 motherboard. All are compatible. X570 motherboard BIOS are capable of working with ryzen 3000 cpus out of the box. All other motherboards might require an older ryzen 2000 cpu in order to flash the BIOS to make them compatible with Ryzen 3000. That might be a hassle if you don't own a previous gen cpu or have access to borrow one. IMO, it would be easier to get an X570 motherboard and plop in the Ryzen 3950x and call it a day. Another thing to look out for, if your an overclocker, you might wanna choose a high end X470 or X570 motherboard to make sure you have adequate power delivery for your overclock. This chip can easily pull over 200 watts overclocked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it won't. Intel vs AMD, different motherboards.
