I would probably go with the 5900x 12 core 32 threads it all depends on what you are going to be doing

Biggest thing to make sure is that your motherboard is updated to accept 5 series chips when you upgrade. Forgot to do that upgrading from a 3700x and had to take it apart and do it again lol.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went from the 3600 to the 5900x and I’ve noticed big improvements. The one thing you need to make sure is you have good enough cooling for the 5900 it will need a lot more than the 3600 to achieve max clock speeds
