• A:Answer It will fit into the AM4 socket of your Prime B450M A(needs a bios update to recognize), but that motherboard doesn’t have adequate VRM to power it under load, and it will get super hot. I would recommend moving up to a B550 or X570 with robust VRM/heatsinks, or go with another CPU instead.

• A:Answer Not so much for maximum GHz but you can better iptimize it with cooler temperaturs by using PBO and single core negative curve settings. Google for optimal bios settings.
