• This works best with an iPhone 12 or later that has the MagSafe ring of magnets around the wireless charging coil. Earlier iPhones like the 11 Pro Max don’t have the magnets so they have to be balanced on the charger with the charging pad laying flat, and the coils may not line up with the balance point. Is is just not a great option for a non-MagSafe iPhone.

• Yes, it should be compatible was that phone sports both magsafe and wireless charging. I'm fact, primarily designed for iPhones.

• From Ankers website, it specifically states it is NOT compatible with iPhone 11 Pro Max or earlier models, even with a magnetic case
