• A:Answer It will depend if the otterbox case is compatible with magsafe. I do have a magsafe compatible case (not Otterbox) and I can charge through it. It really depend if your case has that compatibility.

• A:Answer This works best with an iPhone 12 or later that has the MagSafe ring of magnets around the wireless charging coil. Earlier iPhones like the 11 Pro Max don’t have the magnets so they have to be balanced on the charger with the charging pad laying flat, and the coils may not line up with the balance point. Is is just not a great option for a non-MagSafe iPhone.
