Output is dependent on type and number of devices plugged in

which is how they can rate it at 30 watts - when charging a 20 volt devices. Most phones are 5vdv so normal output for that is 3 amps (15w). There is a trickle charge setting for use with earbuds and such but don't know what amperage that would be - my guess is less than 1 amp though
