• Thanks for your question. It charges an iPhone 7 up to about 1.5x faster than the original adapter. As for a 7th Gen I-Pad, the charging time is almost the same as the original adapter. • iPhone doesn’t seem to take long. I have a 7. iPad... I don’t know for two reasons. I don’t usually use it on my iPad, it’s not my priority when traveling. Sadly, I don’t know which iPads my friend gave me... I just use them. I know it has charged them when I was in a pinch; but as my name indicates I’m crazy busy... I plug it in and walk off to finish up what I’m doing...come back when able...
