I haven't had any problems with overheating since I keep it in my switch case. But it does come with a suede case that is very soft.

Please try again later.ive had no issues with heat and it comes with a little sleeve to put it in that has a drawstring. imagine a soft sleeve for sunglasses. its similar to that just thicker/heavier duty because the power bank is obviously bigger then a pair of sunglasses

Had it connected to my Switch in handheld mode for over an hour while playing Super Mario Odyssey as my Switch was charging. And finally, a case is included with the battery pack, but it is a soft case. Great for protecting the battery pack in a larger case, but not as a standalone. Hope this helps.
