• Yes, but it's slower than the actual iPad charger. Don't buy these from Best Buy. They're cheap versions made to look like the ones from the official website and given a nice fabric case so that you'll think it's a great buy.

• You can use this device to charge an iPad and it is not a cheaper version of anything. This is a fabulous charger/bank.
