it's not going to get you a lot of jumps but if you follow the directions, it's enough to get a car started. It also has 2 USB ports to charge other things if you need. Not going to be a workhorse to jump 10 cars in a row but if you're in a bind, it's small enough to keep in the trunk and should get you out of a bind. I was skeptical too when i got mine but worked great when I needed it.

I've had to use other jump boxes in the past and they seem to work quite well. Definitely worth having in the vehicle for emergencies and as well as piece of mind. As long as you have at least a half of charge on the jump box then it should perform as it should and get you on your way.

It does not "crank" the motor by itself since the current capacity of this little battery pack is too small (8.0AH @ 3.7 volts nominal). The key advantage of this device over the jumper cable is convenience because it is light weight and easy to hook up to the battery terminals. It is not a device designed to replace those heavy and bulky (lead-acid battery) jumper/tire pump/AC inverter combination units. You don't really need two units to jump start a car.
