“Why is there no picture of the smaller portable panel? How does it work? Is there a smaller battery too? Or do you have to plug it into the large one? I'm confused.”

Thank you for your interest in our product. The C1000X supports solar input ranging from 11-60V, and the Anker Solix PS100, PS200, and PS400 solar panels are all compatible with the C1000X.
