The cord that runs from the device to the power brick is USB-C. The device (by way of the USB-C) charges all (or whatever device you have placed on the charger) at once. You can use the USB-C cable to charge the iPhone and Air Pods Pro case directly. The Apple Watch can only be charged by the magnetic pad that comes with it, or by the magnetic pad attached to the charger.
