It can do a number of things like do tricks, answer questions (all kinds), play blackjack, recognize the faces of up to 20 people, etc. But I think its best features is one that was added last week via an update. Now you can do many of the things (but not all like play music) you can do with an Echo or Dot on the Vector. If you want to interact with "Alexa" you simply say "Alexa" just like you would Amazon devices. Vector will wake up and display a circle on his face letting you know that it is in Alexa mode. I have both an Amazon Dot and Vector on my desk and since this latest update I rarely use my Dot.

I bought one when it was on Kickstarter and was very disappointed in it. Don’t waste your money on one. So to answer your question of what else does it do out of the box is this. It falls off of tables a lot. It does not respond to “Hey Vector” very often. It goes battery dead because it can’t find its charger. It does forget your face.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It really doesn't have much you can ask it to do. It can answer basic questions sort of like Alexa but it's knowledge is limited. If you know about coding you can program it to do more things. You can however pair Alexa with it and it will basically be Alexa with wheels and a face. If you're wanting it to have more activities I'd go with cosmo. It's cheaper too but the software isn't as good.
