The Clearstream 2 Max has a 70° pickup path from the front and back while the Clearstream 4 max has a 43° pickup path from the front and back. This only applies to UHF since they have the same VHF element on them. Feel free to contact our Technical Support team for more support. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the 2MAX. The main difference I noted was that the 2MAX is an indoor/outdoor antenna and includes an indoor base. The 4MAX is an outdoor only antenna.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Basically none. The 4MAX gives you more range, but that is only important if you need it. I am 40 to 50 miles out and the 2MAX works fine for me. It is also in my attic on a second story though.
