• It is not amplified, so you don't need a source of power. I get over thirty channels, crystal clear.

• The ClearStream 2MAX does not include an amplifier. If you live in a urban or suburban area, most often you do not need an amplifier. You shouldn't purchase additional equipment until you test the antenna first in the location you plan to install the antenna. • No it is not. I use it as an indoor antenna in an apartment. I was finally able to get my local CBS station that is very hard to receive.
