The Clearstream 2 Max differs from the Clearstream 2 V in a couple of key ways. The Clearstream 2 Max is easier to assemble and is more multi-directional than the Clearstream 2 V. The Clearstream 2 V has a 70° pickup path from the front of the antenna with a 3-leaf pattern from the rear of the antenna. The Clearstream 2 Max has a 70° pickup path from the front and back. This one is also less directional than the 2V, which allows you more flexibility in positioning. Although that also means the gain is a little bit less in the direction of the TV station compared to the 2V.
