A:Answer I get about 55 here in Houston But there are a lot of foreign language and special channel like religious and shopping ones that I don't watch myself.
All the big networks PBS, FOX, CW, CBS...etc. come in fine. The bonus is that there have several channels in addition to the main channel. PBS has for example 8, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3,-8.7. When I had cable I only received the equivalent of the first channel and it the basic cable package cost me $20/month.
Adding a DVR like a TV Romeo is a good idea to record shows for viewing when you wish.
