• Not if you have a newer flat panel tv, yes if you have a tube tv

• If you have a TV that was manufactured after I believe 2008, it should have a digital scanner in it. If the TV was recently purchased from a store new all you have to do is hook the antenna to the TV and scan for channels.

• Only if you have the older tube type TVs. Any of the newer flat screen TVs (after 2007) usually have the ATSC/NTSC tuners built in.

• You would need digital converter box to see HD on an old tv. In reality there is nothing digital in the antenna.

• No, assuming you are using a modern digital TV. All transmissions are digital now - if few are true 1080p High Definition.
