- Answer Hi Juan! Depends on the global location. The 4MAX works across North America, Europe, and Asia. If you have a specific location you would like to take the 4MAX antenna, give us a call and we will advise. We are available for any questions 7 days a week, we are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas observed holidays. Otherwise we are here from 9am to 7pm M-F and on the weekends 10am to 6pm CST. QuestionWe bought this because cable has gotten ridiculous for seniors. We live in Rochelle IL and bought this so my parents could get Univision like it shows on the box, we can’t pick it up. Why?

- Answer Hi Maricela, We’re so sorry for the frustration, especially when you were hoping to help your parents cut down on cable costs. Unfortunately, Univision is not currently broadcast over-the-air in the Rochelle, IL area. While our packaging may show popular networks like Univision, channel availability actually depends on what local stations are broadcasting in your specific location. In Rochelle, Telemundo is available, but Univision is not carried by a nearby broadcast tower. This isn't an issue with the antenna itself, it’s simply due to what’s available in your local market.

QuestionI would like to mount this antenna in my attic. My house has a radiant barrier decking. Will I just have to get one and try it to know if it works. The radiant barrier affects my mobil phone reception in certain ares of the house.

- Answer Yes, the radiant barrier you have installed can reduce TV signals from an attic-mounted antenna. Since performance varies based on the home installation, the only way to know for sure is to test the antenna. Best Buy has a return policy but double check how much time you have before purchasing. Antennas Direct has a great customer support team that is happy to help with antenna placement and aiming to get the best possible results. If attic mounting doesn’t work well due to the radiant barrier, an outdoor installation will provide the strongest performance.

However, if the exterior of the home or building is made of metal, this material may heavily obstruct your signal reception. If this is the case, we strongly recommend you mount the antenna on the exterior. - Answer The local affiliates are 75 miles away. Very clean and clear reception. That’s driving miles. I’m sure it’ll receive further then that depending on the terrain.

- Answer If the storage building is metal, then we recommend putting the antenna on the roof. Metal structures on buildings can impact antenna performance, primarily by reflecting or absorbing radio signals causing interference. If the structure is not metal, then it will work indoors.
