I had to aim mine, Using the app to find the nearest TV broadcast location made it really easy.

It receives TV signals from the front and the back of the antenna elements. There is some aiming involved as you want to point the antenna towards the largest cluster of towers to get the best experience. We have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your smartphone so that you can see the towers and help you aim the antenna to get the most TV channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It pivots up and down less than 2 inches.I don’t see how it would pivot side to side.I attached it to my old satellite dish and ran the scan to get 62 channels here in the Midwest.This product does a decent job so far with no issues
