Hello Randall, the amplifier cable is 5ft. and can be connected directly to a USB port on your TV or you can use the USB power adapter with any standard wall outlet. The amplifier should be installed downlead by the TV. There are setup instructions inside the ClearStream 4MAX Complete box with detailed instructions and an illustrated diagram to setup and install the antenna and all the components.
