• Hi Don, thank you for your question! We do not have any 4MAX antennas with internal amplifiers. With an outdoor antenna the signal reception is usually a bit stronger than that of an indoor antenna, so we recommend an external amplifier for our 4MAX antennas. The reason for this is some folks don't realize that if you try to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers it can very well make your reception worse. So, we recommend an amplifier like our Jolt Switch, https://store.antennasdirect.com/jolt-switch-tv-antenna-amplifier.html, that can either be remove or turned on and off just in case the amplification is not needed.
