Yes. This will hook to any coaxial port on any TV. Then it just pulls in over-the-air signal. Existing cable boxes will not impact this antennas performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had 5 televisions in my house, all of them hooked up to a coax for cable. I no longer have cable, though I still have internet running through the coax. The tech from Best Buy hooked my antenna in the attic to the main coax entering the house which feeds all the televisions. Each television remained connected to the coax (for internet) which allows me to use Fire Stick, Hulu, Netflix etc. However, I can change the source to each separate television (as opposed to HDMI 1 and or HDMI 2) and still pick up all my local channels just through the antenna.. So if I'm understanding the question correctly, the second television is not connected to cable, unlike the main television. However, the antenna will have to be connected directly to the second television if all you trying to get are local channels without using the cable. Is there a reason the second television isn't connected to cable/coax? The main purpose of this antenna is cutting the cable for television. Then use the antenna for local television and the internet for streaming devises.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, attach the antenna cable to your antenna in, on your TV. When you want to watch TV with the antenna select TV input and select antenna. Didn't forget to scan for channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. In fact I have Directv hooked up at my house but this antenna picks up around 10 diffent channels that Directv don’t. I have Directv plugged into a Hdmi port and the antenna plugged into the coaxial cable input. I just have to turn the channel on the tv itself from the remote in order to view it. Plus I am 300 feet higher then any of the towers too which makes all the difference. If you download the antennadirect app to locate the towers then you won’t waste your time turning the thing.
