I did exactly what you mentioned, and tossed the dish in the trash after sending back their receiver. I recall I had some issue with a switch or hook up in the box DISH used before entering the house. I called Clearstream and they walked me through what I needed to do. Voila! I get amazing reception and I am pulling from opposite directions, 50 miles each way. HD is great as well and I am saving a ton. Cut DISH, got Hulu and Netflix and saving hundreds a month.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did that using their splitter & it worked for me.. However, there's only one input on every splitter. If you are using the input from Dish, you won't have another one. You willl have to remove the input from Dish.
