“How high off the ground does this antenna need to be. We hope to use our existing directv pole and lines - the dish is maybe 4 feet off the ground....is that good or does it have to be higher?”

I tried it at about 10 feet off the ground but the signal was best at about 5 feet. Odd, I thought higher was better but not for.my.location... yours may be different.

Please try again later.We always recommend you install an antenna in the highest possible location like on your roof or in the attic to achieve the best possible reception. If your would like to install the antenna on your current satellite provider mast at ground level, the reception pattern coming from the towers may or may not be an optimal location, however it would be best for you to call our support team and give them your location so they can perform a free signal analysis.
