“So what kind of channels would I get with this antenna So if I got this antenna and put it on the roof and it would give me 44 channels or more would it just be local channels or would I get stuff like HGTV, FoodNetwork, Fox News, Cooking Channel, DIY network, Espn, Espn 2, Espn U, and so on and so forth. Because I would like to know before I spend money and not like what I get.”

The channels you mention are pay channels and are not available on OTA antennas. You also don't receive channels that you pay for and don't watch like you do with cable and satellite bundles, and you don't receive channels with shows full of profanity. You do receive all your local channels, a few movie channels, some christian channels, a couple of DIY and home channels, ION telivision, Grit, WKNO and even a couple of spanish language channels. Something else you don't get is a $90.00 to $200.00 monthly bill for something you only watch 10% of. The shows you thought you couldn't live without (The Walking Dead) are soon not missed when you start to get you life back.

None of the basic cable/satellite channels such as HGTV, etc. You can get those using Roku, Google, AppleTV, or SlingTV. With one of these options and Netflix and Hulu, the expense for equipment and subscription is only a third of what I paid for my cable service. Well worth the money.
