No it is not amplified, you don't need a splitter, you can connect it to your cable line that runs into the house, and connect your tv to the wall cable outlet that is how I have it and it work fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not amplified and doesn't need to be if you only splitting it to two TV's. It is 33" high and 49" wide though so it might be to large for your crawl space. I have mine mounted in an attic an tune stations over 50 miles away. Since you're only 25 miles from your stations you could probably use a much smaller antenna. You can check the signal strength and direction of TV stations at your location by going to tvfool.com and entering you address.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not amplified and does not use power. The manual says the range is 35 miles. It will still get results beyond that though. You're not supposed to split it but it wouldn't hurt to try. That may affect how long a cable run it can tolerate. Hanging it Inside is fine but an exterior wall will be better than an interior one. The higher the better but not beyond the 50 foot cable length. After that and you'll want an amplifier.
