It's not meant to be used as an indoor antenna because it's large. It's the size of two sofa seat cushions. If you have access to the attic that would be a better place to mount it unless the roof is metal. If you have to mount it in a window, make sure it's at least 49" wide and 33" tall. The antenna is also 5" from front to back so it will stick out of most windows but you should be able to cover it up with curtains. The signal is very strong. I use mine mounted in the attic and tune stations over 50 miles away. If you're using coax longer than 30 feet you can add a pre-amp or distribution amp.
