• Yes. I recently bought two (2) of these monitors and used both HDMI cables as "inputs" for my PC displays. Both monitors are currently running 144hz.

• You need a display port to use 144hz on your monitor if you are currently using and hdmi then you are actually running 60hz use a display port cable then you will feel a major difference because you will actually be using the monitor to its full extent
