Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tim, What happened to the VGA cable you were using to connect your old monitor to your [old] tower?? THAT's the cable you need to use to connect this monitor to your old tower.. there's a blue connector on the back of this monitor (see attached pic), connect the cable there. Download the manual from AOC's website & read up on input selection. I have a pair of AOC's connected to two different towers, both have 1x VGA & 1x DVI connectors, I set the input to auto detect on both. That said, this is a good sized monitor, check your video card to make sure it can handle this large of monitor. Depending on what you do & how high of resolution you run, a video card with 512MB memory may prove inadequate. I recently started to run Win-7 Pro x64 with one of my towers, first I had to do a couple upgrades; one of them was a EVGA GT-730 video card with 2-gigs memory.
