Absolutely. I have it powering my Sharp 60" TV, 2 Bluray players, a DVD/VHS unit, the cable box and several other accessories including speakers. I never have to reset anything after a brownout, flash or short power outage. By short I mean anything under about 1½ hours. It is a battery after all and will only last about that long.

A 750 should be enough to keep the TV running once on for a few minutes to let you power down nicely. Look up your TV's power (watts & current) requirements in the manual or on its support/web site and that will give you an idea of how much time you'll have. The TV can make a difference to the UPS upon its power-up - drawing more current than the UPS can deliver, which can throw a UPS error code. This is not nearly as bad as the old days when we used CRT TVs (and this is assuming YOU have a flat screen...) but start-up current draw in flat screens can still be relatively higher than a UPS expects unless it's beefy enough.
