It depends what is plugged into it. If you only have the monitor and computer plugged into it, then you should get about 15 to 20 minutes of run time. This is plenty of time to shut the computer down.

Thank you for your interest in our products. It really depends on how much power the desktop PC draws. Generally standard desktops would draw around 200 watts of power which would give you around 8 minutes of runtime. If the power draw is more than the runtime will be decreased.
