If your intention is to protect your non server type computer(not high power consumption) or router/modem for internet against surges and expect battery backup during power outages and the output power capacity of those loads will not exceed the limit of the specific backups unit then you can consider using such back ups model even for television. However, its a NO for refrigerator because our ups units are designed for IT devices only. Thanks and have a great day.
