I currently have a oneac 250e battery backup for my cash register which is getting old,will this product work for me? I should add that I have Ruby VeriFone rigisters. TY null

The UPS you are using now is quite a bit larger than this unit. If this is a business critical register, i would recommend looking at a larger APC. Maybe somewhere along the lines of a 1500.

Yes this will work for any devise that has an A/C power cord. Depending on how much your register draws power the amount of time you will have power to the register may vary. I Dont think registers draw alot of power so I would guess you may get 20 to 30 minutes of power during a black out.
