Yes, but not for very long. In my case, it powered the phone company "modem", an ethernet switch, and whatever box the phone company had outside my house for about 1/2 hour. I have another of these that ran my Mac mini for long enough for a clean shut down. Then I used it's power to run a led light bulb (about 4 watts) for several hours.

The BN450M may be a bit too small for a desktop computer because it only support 255 watts of equipment connected to it. You would likely be better off with our BN650M1 which supports 360 watts connected to it. The BN450M also doesn't have a data port on it to shut the desktop down gracefully where the BN650M1 does.
