It will power anything, but this is a small unit and it will probably not last all night. You need to find out how much power your unit uses per minute, guess the number of minutes your electricity will be out and then figure out how big a unit to get.

It will run a CPAP machine for a couple of minutes (3 to 5 min max). For a longer run time you will want something with a bigger capacity. This battery back up system is designed for laptops or routers with small loads.

Debra, I think it should work as long as your machine doesn't have any sort of heating element. If the machine uses less than 200 watts of electricity at 110 volts it should let the device continue to run for almost 10 minutes, plus or minus, during a power outage.
