that's a tough question considering a device less than a year old has experienced its third power out here in Peoria IL. now I lost a router that is plugged into this piece of cheap junk. it beeps for 10 seconds and no charge. you would think surge and some form of protection but instead it just killed my 200.00 router once power came back. complete garbage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for reaching out. The BN450M will charge while it is plugged in and whether it is turned on or off. There is no led that indicates it is fully charged, but it should reach full charge within 8 hours. http://www.apc.com/salestools/AHUG-A7DC9U/AHUG-A7DC9U_R2_EN.pdf
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The power button should light up green, that’s how you know it’s on and changing. There is no real indicator how much it’s charged, it’s a very simple, small battery backup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no indicators. it will beep and that's about it. APC is starting to make low end junk. I think the price for these units is overpriced and the quality is not an option. 40..50..60 you are lucky to get a year out of these things , especially if you live in the crap Peoria IL
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To check whether the unit has a charged battery, simply unplug the unit from the wall outlet, leaving whatever devices that are being powered from it switched on. If the devices remain on, then you know that it has a charged battery.
