Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately this unit will not provide a graceful shutdown of your system. It designed primarily to be used with smaller equipment like a modem and router. If you wanted the UPS to trigger a graceful shutdown than you would need to go with our BE600M1 instead. You would then connect the USB cable that comes with the UPS from the Mac to the UPS. You can use the embedded energy saving features of the Mac OS to provide a graceful shutdown of the system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not allow for automated shutdowns or any type of monitoring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t need any software really. It’s basxially just a surge strip with a battery. When that runs out, if the power isn’t back then anything hooked to it will just shut off as with any power loss.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no software integration with this unit so no graceful shutdown is supported - it is a manual process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't comes with USB ports, so it doesn't.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont think it will auto shut off any computer but it will shut off when the battery in the ups runs out of power but then again i could be wrong. I did use alot of ups as a cctv technician to keep the nvr running till the power comes back on.
