• Thank you for your interest in our products. Yes BGM1500B should support your TV and cable box. The load would just need to be under 900 watts and I don't suspect they pull more than that.

• I bought it to power my gaming console (PS4) and TV (Samsung 50 Inch OLED) to be able to powerdown in case of a blackout. Not only does it keep them on but does so for more than enough time (10+ minutes).
