Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately the UPS would not have the option to sync up with the pellet stove to trigger it to shutdown. It can provide a power backup but the stove would need to pull less than 900 watts of power. Anything over 900 watts would overload the UPS unfortunately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a USB cable to communicate with a computer and they provide software for Windows to manage the shutdown. If the pellet stove is controlled by a Windows computer, then the answer is probably yes. If the pellet stove doesn't have a USB port and a program to interpret the information being provided through the USB cable, then I don't see how the unit could do a clean shutdown. Of course, when it runs out of battery power, it will stop supplying power to whatever it was powering.
