I was able to turn off everything except the illuminated letters "APC" on the top of the unit. The manual's list of functions includes: Function: Turn on/off the led lights Timing: 6 seconds Description: Press and hold the LED button to turn on/off the LED lights status (buzzer will beep when 6 seconds pass). The status will cycle through: Front and rear LED on - Front LED on, rear LED off - Front LED off, rear LED on - Front LED and rear LED off. The manual didn't say anything about turning off the illuminated letters "APC" on the top of the unit. (I presume, but haven't tested, that when the unit is turned off, the letters won't be illuminated.)

Press and hold light button in center until it beeps and it switch mode between back light, front light and both on/off etc. APC illuminated on top, I don't think that can be turned off but it's small and easy to cover.
