• Yes if you use the supplied cable and install the software, it will shut your computer down before batteries die.

You would just need to connect the USB cable that comes with the UPS directly to your computer. Just make sure it is running directly to the computer. You can either use the Window's energy saving feature or download our PowerChute Personal Edition from our website.
