• Thank you for your interest in our products. It would clean up the power coming from the generator but you may need to drop the sensitivity on the UPS down to low so it doesn't stay on battery the entire time while the generator is running. Sometimes if the generator power is too dirty it will keep the UPS on battery.

• It’s a line interactive UPS, so yes. As long as the power is clean enough coming in (120/60hz) to not trip anything on the UPS.
