“Are you able to do a hot swap? I need to replace the battery but can't shut down the computer. Ive got others that dont require a full shut down.”

It’s not recommended for safety reasons but I’m sure you could without shutting down the computer.

The relevant documents state that the UPS has an easy-to-replace hot-swappable battery, and the battery replacement procedure is safe and isolated from electrical hazards.
