“i purchased one of these units a few years ago. It has been working fine until last night. It had a very high pitched sound and on the display flashing F01. i have disconnected all electrical loads and unplugged it but it still makes the sound.”

To turn sound off press and hold the button below the panel on the right. As for the quality - I just tried to buy one today and it didn't work, tried to replace it with a similar one but tested in a store first - didn't work either. Avoid!
